Information
The 139 900 Un-banded Fixed Bollard is both stylish and durable making it an excellent choice for demarcation and ram-raid protection.
- The 139 900 Fixed Bollard series provides commercial and industrial perimeters with a strong and elegant solution for demarcation, heavy-duty protection against ram-raid attacks and preventing vehicles from mounting kerbs or paths where pedestrians could be.
- The height and diameter of the bollard allow increased visibility for larger vehicles such as vans or even HGVs, clearly marking a restricted zone or area for drivers.
- The 139 900 Unbanded Fixed Bollard design consists of a strong post measuring 139mm in diameter and 1,300 in length. The bollard is supplied in either a galvanised and mild steel finish for high-level corrosion protection or mild steel and then shot blasted and powder coated to a specified RAL colour.
- Each bollard has a wall thickness of 5mm, making it extremely durable. An alternative finish we can provide is Grade 304 stainless steel. Supplied with an inner, galvanised mild steel core measuring 114mm in diameter and with a 5 mm wall thickness, this core is then sleeved with a stainless-steel outer with a diameter of 139mm and a wall thickness of 2mm. For stainless steel models please get in touch with our sales team for a quote.
- This type of construction has a major advantage in that both types of finish are much stronger than many other bollards which have one, 2-3mm wall and are very susceptible to denting and bending. The bollard is root fixed and installation is very straightforward.
- If the 139 900 is being installed within a particularly saline or marine environment, we would recommend using Grade 316 stainless steel.
