The Vulcan RCS Sliding Gate is the widest impact-tested cantilever gate available in the perimeter protection market, capable of stopping vehicles up to 64kph.
- The Vulcan RCS frame is constructed from aluminium, making this gate lightweight, enabling it to run smoothly without the need for a track.
- By working with our sister companies within HS Security, ATG Access has developed a proven base product from Parking Facilities, Barkers forced entry tested cantilever & tried and tested shallow mount foundation technology from ATG Access.
Smooth, Secure Operation
- Vulcan RCS locks with a pin to secure the gate.
- The 3-phase motor used to drive operation has an in-built inverter, making the product operation very smooth as it maintains absolute control during movement.
- This allows the gate to slow down as it enters the post and the pin engages.
- The Vulcan RCS has a 10-metre clear opening and is the widest available HVM cantilever gate on the market.
- Tested to both the BSI PAS 68 & ISO IWA 14-1 crash test standards, The gate will stop a 7,500kg vehicle travelling at 64kph (40mph), impressively arresting the vehicle in just 4.5 metres.
A Safe, Elegant Access Solution
- As a safety precaution, dual height photocells, CAT 3 safety edges and an emergency stop button are fitted as standard.
- Together, these safety devices reduce the risk of entrapments, crushing and shearing, ensuring compliance with British Standards.
- The gate can be powered by a battery or manually operated to maintain security in the event of a power outage.
- The gate frame is manufactured in aluminium with an additional cartridge containing high-technology, synthetic fibres. All steel parts are hot dip galvanised as standard to BS EN ISO 1461.
- The gate finish is supplied in a RAL, powder-coated finish, black as standard. This can be painted to alternative RAL specifications if required.
