Information
Tested to IWA 14, the Bristorm Bri-Swing Gate was designed to restrict access football stadiums on match-days.
Manually Operated
When locked in a closed position the manually operated swing gate will inhibit vehicular access from a nearby ring-road, ultimately stopping them from reaching fans and pedestrians near the stadium.
With a maximum 8m clear span, large vehicles can still pass through so day-to-day operations aren’t disrupted.
Shallow Foundation
The shallow footing means underground services aren’t disturbed making this a cost-effective yet reliable hostile vehicle mitigation solution for the public realm, suitably applied around stadiums, arenas and city centre events.
The Bristorm Bri-Swing Gate can be utilised as a standalone security measure or can be integrated alongside alternative, existing or new fence lines.
Impact Tested
Tested the international impact test standard – IWA 14-1, the Bri-Swing Gate has been crash-tested from both directions and can withstand impact from a 7,200 kg vehicle travelling at 64 kph (40mph).
The Bri-Swing Gate has a secure locking mechanism and can be installed left or right-handed; a two-gate arrangement is also possible to span across wide carriageways.
